Wolves Volleyball

The Lady Wolves Volleyball team has played in a few tournaments and has had a couple of conference games. On the 1st of October, the Lady Wolves hosted a home game against Columbus. The Lady Wolves fell short in 3 sets going 0-3. On the 5th of October, the Lady Wolves headed to New London for a tournamnet. The Lady Wolves went 1-2 losing to New London and Norte Dame. On the 8th of October, the Lady Wolves were headed to Highland. Lady Wolves ended up coming short going 0-3. They lost 22-25, 26-28, 24-26.
On the 10th of October, the Lady Wolves won their home game against Hillcrest. On the 15th of October, the Lady Wolves headed to Lone Tree for their last regular season game. They won vs Lone Tree. The Lady Wolves started regionals the 21st of October versus Lone Tree. They won 3-1. They advanced and played HTC Wednesday, October 23 at 7. The Lady Wolves played at HTC and came short. The Lady Wolves ended their season going 11-13.
Player Highlight
Lady Wolves have had some outstanding stats as the regular season is starting to come to an end. A junior, Madisen Kellogg, is leading the team with 428 assist. A junior, Kellee Milks, is leading the team with 188 kills. A freshman, Kynlee Buffington has about 46.0 blocks. A senior, Pacey Schlee, is leading the team with 332 digs. A junior, Kaelyn Townsley, is leading the team with 34 serve aces.
WMU Dance/Cheer Team

Cheer
Winfield Mt.Union cheer team has cheered at a few home football games. On the 4th of October, they cheered at the home game vs Iowa Valley. They cheered at the home game vs Mormon Trail on the 11th of October. The home game vs Mormon Trail is the last time that the cheer team was able to cheer at home.
Dance
So far the dance team has performed only 2 of their dances. They have performed their homecoming dance and their Halloween dance. Right now, (Lilly H, Ella K, Madisen K, Kellee M, Suttyn S, Pacey S, Karilyn T, and Kaelyn T) are all working on their state routine. They perform on Thursday, December 5.
State Solos
Winfield Mt.Union has a senior, Pacey Schlee, and a junior, Kaelyn Townsley, doing a state solo. Kaelyn is doing a jazz dance and Pacey is doing a hip-hop routine. They performed the 25th of October at Pella Middle School. Kaelyn performed at 11:51 and Pacey performed at 12:15. Kaelyn Townsley advanced and got a D1 rating with her solo October 25.
